I used to watch her show on Comedy Central, before she became popular with the movies and her HBO specials. But honestly, her stand up is funny, but not super funny. She's just funny and original enough to get a few good laughs, but not busting up.
Amy Schumer's sister Kim Caramele writes a lot of her material. I think she even wrote the script for Train Wreck with Amy in mind.
