I may have been a bit off. The first time I looked at the antiopde map I roughly estimated the location of the quake, which put the antipode in middle Wisconsin (which to me, is close enough to the New Madrid for me). But I checked the antipode again, this time using exact coordinates of the quake, and the antipode is actually further north, in north central Minnesota.

Just wanted to clarify, although it's still a bit close for comfort as far as I'm concerned. Happy weekend y'all!
