When they were getting me ready, my blood pressure was sky high, 178/121. Until they started the sedation, it stayed that way. I don't have high blood pressure, I was just scared out of my mind. The dentist chuckled after he realized I wasn't going to stroke out on him, "You weren't kidding when you said dentists scared the crap out of you!" and then laughed some more. When I got home, I took my pressure and it was back down where it is suppose to be, 118/74. I think it would be wise for me to learn not to be scared of dentists....oh wait, I made sure that would never be an issue again!!!!!!!!!! The first time I looked at the antiopde map I roughly estimated the location of the quake, which put the antipode in middle Wisconsin (which to me, is close enough to the New Madrid for me). But I checked the antipode again, this time using exact coordinates of the quake, and the antipode is actually further north, in north central Minnesota. Just wanted to clarify, although it's still a bit close for comfort as far as I'm concerned. Happy weekend y'all! When I looked it up I got Jacksboro, TX. Which is close to Oklahoma. Which is close to the New Madrid... screen shot [link to i.imgur.com]  That's weird-it looks like you plugged in exact location as well. Well, either way it's a bit too close to NM for my comfort! It's been active enough around there already. |
