Canton Police ask residents to stay indoors during storm

CANTON, Mass. (WHDH) -
The Canton Police department is asking residents - especially children - to stay indoors during the winter storm.

Canton Police sent out a message on Twitter just after 2:30 p.m. notifying residents of an "extremely dangerous situation."

According to the police, the heavy snow has accumulated on trees and branches.
