For years I heard about Vick's (generic is fine) working to stop a cough when rubbed on the soles of your feet. Honestly thought it was silly. Finally when a horrible coughing fit took hold, I did this and in 2-3 minutes it was over. I am known to cough for a solid 15 minutes at a time and yes, usually end up puking. Now, as soon as I get a cough (this is my asthma sign, not always a wheezer), I slather my feet in this stuff, put on socks and I can sleep for 6 hours solid! With out it, only an hour here or there.

Another thing, when I still had teeth, I had horrible dental pain several times a month. 2 percocets didn't touch the pain. I rubbed Vicks on it and viola, pain was gone. It was the craziest thing I thought the pain pills just started working. Next day the pain was worse and without taking any kind of meds, rub Vicks on the side of the mouth, on the outside, and in 2 minutes the pain was gone. Just simply done.

Next, my daughter has horrible bunions since she was 7. I kept telling her to rub Vicks on them and she would give me that teenager look that says the parent has lost their mind. She finally was hurting so bad she broke down and rubbed in on her feet. She wasn't even done with the 2nd foot before the pain in the first was gone. The look on her face WAS PRICELESS!

So when I push the crazy Vick's Vapor Rub - I have a good reason. Try it!
