Quoting: InfiniteDream The storms coming in made sure and screwed up any sunrise pics. But I left a message in the sand for you silly people Not the greatest pics IMAGE ( [link to i.imgur.com] ) IMAGE ( [link to i.imgur.com] ) IMAGE ( [link to i.imgur.com] ) Looks pretty. Hey I.D., do you know anything about the Raleigh area? I have an interview for a job there (via skype for this first round). I have never been there. Have done some research and although most of what I read is positive, I don't know that I can picture myself there. Any insight is appreciated. I posed this question once before when I first applied, so if you responded then I apologize, as I didn't see it. |

This mood started with the pic of the moon Simple took that I and Jazzy found ominous and hasn't let up since, not even during a nap I took earlier. Great pic ID. Thanks for posting all of them. I hope you had a good time. Last Edited by -Haun- on 03/13/2016 03:13 PM |

Gonna go hardcore this time with my own home gym. I've totally been on the fence with my work's benefit of a gym membership discount but I prefer the privacy and germ-free environment of a home gym. Annnnd going by the 24 hour fitness that was just built fairly close to my house it is paaaaaaaacked solid every day...I soooo don't wanna deal with that. Besides, I've done my time in the gym many many many moons ago. I'm done with that environment. So I pulled the trigger today. Besides, with as much as the Bowflex I got today cost I would pay for one in six months with what the gym membership costs with the work discount, so hey... Good for you CS. :sw_twoguns: Look forward to hearing about your progress and such. Get after it!!! Indeed. Gonna be quite a bit since I have a lot to lose, so...progress will be slow at first. One good thing....its like, an hour from here....so you'll be an hour from the coast Thanks, I appreciate the response. It's weird, I cannot find one single person who has been there, or knows someone close who has insider info. I'm not really a beach person, so that's not quite the draw for me as it would be for most. Of course, it's pretty and might be nice to have a quick day trip option for something different, but I'm more of a mountain person - which I hear is about 2 hrs. from Raleigh so that is plus. I wish this job was in Asheville, which I think would be a better fit for me. In the mountains and climate-wise, much more my cup of tea. I need winter. A real winter. And I'm fearful of Raleigh summers, it sounds like it is consistently hot/humid. Where I live we have hot, humid summers too, but not every day unless there is an oddball heat wave. There are breaks and ups and downs that help me get through it. It just sounds sweltering there for months on end. Enjoy your day at the beach. Thanks again! |
