They put the epidural in and that stopped the whole thing. Daughter said fine, and slid right back up. I had her 6 hours later!!! By the time I had her they had to turn the epidural off as I wasn't pushing good enough - she was stuck, I couldn't. As is, she was born sunny-side up instead of face down like normal and thus reason she was stuck. Back labor with her was horrific!!!!

Son was breech so they turned him the week before they planned to induce at 38 weeks (daughter born at 38 weeks also both labors started then naturally). Since they were using ultra sound during the turning, they should have known he had a huge head (he finally grew into it) but no, no one said a thing. Then he was born, it took two nurses on top of me to help push him out. I split 4 ways up into thigh muscle on the sides (took 6 months to heal). Was told later it would have been much better to have done a C-section. Had emergency surgery after the birth as I was hemorrhaging and to repair the botched birth by the idiot doctor.

Thank God for my two, for I would never ever ever go through that again. They say mom's forget the pain and have more children, not me!!!!!

Plus, hubby was snipped two weeks after I found out I was preggo with son. He didn't want to see me go through any more losses - lost 6 before my two angels were born.

How's that for a little TMI????

Who could blame you?! Geesh!

And same lol. That's why I have one child. My contractions were also in my back, not stomach, which was part of the reason I didn't realize that I was in labor (plus being early) and ended up being fully dilated when I got to the hospital.

I also tore and began to hemorrhage because of the super push to get her out lol. When I felt the pain of my first push I decided right then and there that she was coming out on the second push. No way was I gonna be able to deal with that. And she did. There was no 'oh here comes the head, here comes the shoulders' lol. They practically had to catch her! Which was why my mom said thank God for the umbilical cord. Luckily I didn't require surgery. They shot me with something in my thigh to stop the bleeding. Which made me extremely sick. It took a while before I even got to hold her. I guess there was panic in the room because of my bleeding according to my mom, but I didn't realize how serious it was.

Lol, TMI times 2? And I left out some unpleasant details. ;-)

I left out a LOT of unpleasant details.

I do remember one thing after my son was born and being carried to the layette for them to do their thing (I was in shock, blood pressure only 50/30 and yes I remember that clearly) him peeing across the room. It was funny and everyone was laughing.
