Life is going to get really busy here till the end of May. 4 huge cakes to make, my daughter graduates HS, end of school year craziness. Plus, come next month, I will be doing major birding, something I just love.

I'm going to be selfish and say I don't want you to go. I look for your posts, your friendship, and your humor and wisdom. GLP is getting more reflective of what is happening in the world overall. It can seem like only bitter, angry people who feel they are entitled to more of everything sometimes seem to take it over. On the other hand, there are some of the most kind hearted, spiritually pure and enlightened, and supportive people you will ever see in this kind of setting. You are one of the latter. Again, selfishly, I don't want to lose seeing you.

I know you will do what is best for you. I know you have that kind of strength. If you go, please don't ever think for a moment that you are forgotten in a very real sense.

I agree with Gomez. I hope, at the least, you will pop in once in a while. Don't need to be a paying member to do that! Some of us around here are perfect examples of that ;)

Well, a strange dinner for a strange day.

Seasoned butter beans w/new potatoes
Cottage cheese
Sliced tomatoes
Colby cheese sticks

and I even threw a few Sweet & Spicy pickles on the plate too! (had to get a green in there somewhere....lol)

I learned a rather rough lesson today. I'm blaming myself for what happened because I didn't eat anything before going to my chair/draining appointment.

But before the lectures start rolling in (lol) I do NOT have an appetite. Pretty much ever. And forcing food doesn't always end well. So...

As soon as I stepped into my house after driving home from my appointment I gagged. It's weird, I kinda gag a lot lol. But this time I got a very sharp, terrible pain in my stomach/rib area. I had to stop and brace myself for a moment because the pain was that bad.

It lessened so I carried on with getting inside and trying to get settled.

My whole body went into full blown symptom attack mode. All over. I had to immediately go lay down for a few minutes.

Kinda scary. Never had that happen so intensely.

Not sure if my lack of food was to blame or not. A good amount of time had passed prior to this happening (long ride home).

I don't know, but I will absolutely force myself to eat before every next draining session because of this.

That being said...I'm coming over for dinner Jazzy!

Oh, and I successfully taught myself to like tomatoes!

Wow. I hear ya on not forcing food when you're just not hungry. Makes me gag when I try to do that. But seriously, at least eat an orange or suck on apple slices next time! That's not good. Hope you're feeling better now.

And get your ass here before I eat it all cuz even as strange as it sounds, it tastes yummmmmmm!
