Today's moving day. My aunt, uncle, brother, cousin and friend are coming over. Might take Sunday too, we'll see. I probably won't be around until mid next week.

My brother is borrowing like a 40ft box truck from his work with a lift on the back. So that is super.

Wow. You were serious when you said you were moving! I figured you meant it but so fast...!

Good luck! Hope your new place is fantastic!

OMG, WA that is fabulous! Congrats to her and to you for raising a fancy cake-making daughter extraordinaire! I have a friend who used to create fancy cakes like this, so I know the work that goes into it. It's gorgeous! Love the cherry blossom tree. Just beautiful! Didn't you say if she won the prize is a scholarship of some sort?
 Quoting: WhiteAngel

Not sure how that all works. They said they would be contacting the winners later. I know I did a lot of work on it, the tedious stuff as she just didn't have the time. The cherry blossom tree is made out of grape stems that were covered candy melts and then the blossoms were piped on one by one by one by one by one.....lol, she did about 1/3 of those. She made all the figures.

I am so very proud of her.

Now the next cake. This one will be for her senior English project and is 75% of her grade. That one will be all dummy cake, so she will be starting that one soon. She wants it HUGE like 5 feet tall. She wants it like a wedding cake extraordinaire!!!!! She wants it blinged out so that means hot candy which I won't let her do, so I will be making lots and lots of clear gems!
This one will be done just in time for me to start on her graduation cake which will be Harry Potter Themed!
Going to be up to my eye brows in cake for the next two months!!!!!

Congrats to your daughter WA. She did a great job, I love the Cherry Tree the best too! Happy trails making all the cakes to come. That's a lot of dedication.

I found Interstellar to be pretty good but they made it far too boring with the blue danube-like music playing all throughout and about 9 different endings.

It also started out as a horror movie and turned into sci-fi. It's like they didn't know what genre they wanted to stick with and what ending they wanted to use so they used all of them.

Movie is good but the above link sucks. The link I watched with the international version has been removed. The putlocker link does have some English captions (if you click the little blacked out button by HD) but whoever did it missed a bunch.

George Yarocki’s lifelong love of Indian motorcycles began nearly 70 years ago. George was just 14 years old when he bought his first Indian in 1941, a 1929 101 Scout. Now, decades later, Yarocki is regarded as perhaps the world’s foremost expert on and restorer of original Indians. Another 1929 101 Scout that he once owned is part of the Indian collection on display at the Lyman and Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History on the edge of downtown Springfield, Mass.

The museum underwent an extensive makeover more than a year ago, and Yarocki was on hand when the 40,000-square-facility was unveiled on Oct. 10, 2009. While the museum also displays locally-made Knox, Atlas, Pope and Rolls-Royce automobiles and Smith & Wesson firearms, Indians are the centerpiece and occupy most of the second floor. Since it opened, nearly 50,000 motorcycle lovers have visited the museum; almost 2,000 alone on “Indian Day” on July 18. The date for Indian Day in 2011 has already been set — July 17.

Yarocki declared a 1916 Indian Power Plus “the hit of the show” after taking his first tour, although he did notice that the headlight needed to be repositioned and that the taillight wasn’t acetylene as originally manufactured. It was the Power Plus that “really put Indian on the map. It would go like the wind,” says Yarocki, who lives in Torrington, Conn. He has since become a regular visitor to the museum.

Take care OP
