Sunspots incoming lack the magnetic character for flaring and the one turning from our view is not putting anything in our direction; its following the large dark hole to the right and is slipping from view.

Incoming southern coronal holes are negative fields and will ramp up the earthquake activity after solidly reaching earth facing positions. They should produce their own solar wind stream at a later time before they interact with our own magnetic field.

Welp, the bonfire didn't get lit last night. But I did take a chicken video. Also, a pic of the pizza. I think the logo is odd for pizza. For some reason I just expected to see a box full of crab legs.

I know I sound funny. But that's how I was told to call the chickens. It works. They'll all come running for 200 feet away and fast.



It's not like the movies, Roosters don't just crow a couples times early. Sometimes they go on for like an hour. I also think they crow just to crow in the afternoon. The Roosters also crows after he does a hen.

Question about chickens: Somehow the topic of owning chickens came up last night, and a friend of mine said sometimes when they lay eggs their ovaries can come out along with the eggs, and you have to shove them back in! I said no way, but my pal insisted. She was being serious so it wasn't a joke, and she tends to know a lot of stuff so I accepted it. But if you can confirm with your chicken-knowing friends I'd appreciate it because this is bothering me. I thank thee.

Hey GFG, you beat me to it. I read that thread before checking in on this threat this morning. Figured at a minimum CS would be talking about it here- he loves his buoys! Sound like they are thinking it was a meteorite that hit the ocean, maybe the size of a softball. Which doesn't seem very big but they said it would've been traveling like 14,000 mph or something like that. I still wonder if that is enough to cause that kind of sudden drop, then sudden raising of the waters? I don't understand the science of it enough to know if this is actually possible from a softball-sized space rock.

Hey, you anywhere near Porto? That's the only place I've visited in Portugal. I was living in Spain at the time, in Galicia on the coast about 95 miles north of the Portugal border. We took a day trip and drove to Porto. Loved it. A very beautiful and quaint town. People were lovely there.

Hi! I live in Fátima, right in center of Portugal. 200Km to south from Porto and 120Km to north from Lisbon. People are lovely in my country... You didn't visit the Douro vines? It's just lovely... a UNESCO World Heritage site!
