I'm packing to go to my mom's tonight. It's near grants pass Oregon so if doom strikes I'm not doing myself any favors. But at least my bag will be packed for the doomage!!!  You have to live your life and can't live it in fear of what might happen. Enjoy your mom, she won't be there forever!  I do try to. I still regularly drive the 2 hours to spend the day at the ocean. Am I thinking "wow, I'm completely dead if the eq strikes"? Yup! But I still go! Good. Just keep your phone charged, check EQ's frequently and always have a bug-out-bag with you and in your vehicle.
