You re right i ve never seen so much earthquake here! Usually we are in a safe area, one of the luckiest country with weather, i used to joke about earthquakes...but now...so strange...

Hey you remember two years ago we were talking about our fruit trees being overloaded and looking like they were dead?? What happened with your? We are going to chop down and pull the stumps out of two of ours after graduation season is over with. Both just died.

I hope this is a good thing. Thinking about him as POTUS still gives me the willies.

I have 5 dead apple trees and both Bali cherry trees are dead. Sad!

Yes it is. Never known a tree to die just because it was very fruitful. They take so long to mature.

Time to ramp up the prepping big time

They were all 5 to 6 foot trees when I planted them 5 years ago! A few of them are growing out from the roots, but that's not going to work. The deer will keep them mowed!

Things are really bad with the fire in Ft. MacMurray! We need to pray for these people!

Yeah we have major suckers coming out of plum and even on a most dead branch. It was old and will be best to just replace it and the two others.

I have a collection of $2 bills going. I think I have 5 of them. They have always been rare and in my mind for whatever reason good luck, so at some point about 10 years ago I started saving them. I have a few on the fridge, a few in my wallet. I'm the same way with half dollars. I probably have 10 of them in my car. No idea why I do it. It makes no sense. And I can assure you they do not bring good luck. Unless it takes a while to work!

Same way here. If I get my hands on a $2 bill or half dollar coin I hold onto it. I wouldn't spend it, I'd save it. Lol, it was kinda painful to give that bill to my daughter. She probably spent it!

My sister isn't doing great, but not exactly awful either. Idk, I can tend to downplay anything that isn't immediately life-threatening.

I knew inside she wasn't quite out of the woods. There's a 6 week period that she's supposed to be monitored closely due to what happened when she went into labor. She was doing SO well on Sunday and good last night. The poor thing, because her fever was SO high in the hospital for so long, her lips suddenly broke out with cold sores yesterday. She looks like Angelina Jolie lol. HUGE lips!

But then today came and she wasn't feeling great. Decided to stop breast feeding because of the way she was feeling. Something else also happened, but I'll leave that semi-gross part out for the sake of the guys on this thread (lol) but she had to call her doctor. She went in and was seen and her blood pressure was really high again so they put her back on medication to lower it. She has a follow up appointment on Friday.

I'm texting with her right now actually. I worry about my baby sister. :\

I hope your sister takes it easy. still sounds a little scary! Poor thing with the cold sores. Sounds miserable! Her immune system is probably wonky right now. I'm sure things will slowly go back to normal, but glad she's getting lots of medical attention to be sure.
