She's doing okay. Still thinks of it a lot and was texting with his ex girlfriend today. Today is his birthday. : (

Found out that it happened at his house. He did it with his stepfather's gun and it was his aunt who found him. She was picking him up for his baseball game. No note. Just so very heartbreaking. I've been reading the posts from his family and friends on FB.

He didn't live in the city we live in so unfortunately there wasn't any sort of counseling or anything made available at my daughter's school here.

She's doing okay though. She's gonna go camping with my parents this weekend for the holiday weekend. That's where my daughter met him. He lived with his mom and stepdad and they go camping all summer where my parents go. My daughter used to go with them every weekend over the summers before she got too cool and wanted to stay home with friends here lol. But they used to see each other every weekend, all weekend, every summer for a few years. I'm not sure that his mom and stepdad will be there this weekend or not, but if they are there my daughter will see them.

My daughter can be a little punk ass at times, but she has a huge heart and she's compassionate. So I know this is weighing on her, but I think she's doing the best she can with it...which is good.
