Hollande announces state of natural disaster
 
Louvre Museum was closed because of the rise of the Seine.


François Hollande announced Thursday, which will be decreed the state of natural disaster because of the floods that have affected the country. According to the French President, the decision will be taken at the next Council of Ministers on Wednesday

The French head of state also said that the natural disaster state will be recognized from Wednesday, the day to be held the next meeting of the French Government Council of Ministers and that the measure will cover the regions most affected by the weather and the flooding.

The heavy rains that have made sense in France increased the flow of the rivers Loire and Seine, and affected several regions of the country. Those who are already considered the worst floods of the last century led to the evacuation of several cities and caused the death of a woman.

This afternoon, the Louvre was closed because of the rise of the Seine and all visitors and employees were evacuated safely.
