Quoting: CuriousSeeker One of our new 32" TVs has a massive screen defect on the bottom. Ugh, that sucks CS! What an aggravation...I get it. Of course you just swap it out for a new one, but it's the process of having to pack it back up in the box after doing everything you've done, driving it back to the store to deal with idiots who will waste too much of your time to perform the swap, then drive back home just to repeat the process you had already done by unpacking and setting it up. That blows. Sorry dude. :\ ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

KickinIt User ID: 56337101 United States 08/06/2016 05:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sorry, I've been slacking lol. Quoting: Simple27 Got a call from my Boston hematologist today (on a Saturday) to discuss the results from the tests he ordered in July (one of which just came back today as it was sent to an outside lab) and the next steps of my journey. It's 5:00 somewhere, right?! :s27bottomsup: Hope everything is ok and no bad news. That round of tests not so good. I need another MRI now because of them. We'll see what happens after that I guess. I've been meaning to ask you, have you heard anything yet from your interview? Oh god, I'm sorry you have to endure another MRI. I'm hoping the upside of all this is that they will figure out what's going on once and for all, and you can then be treated properly and soon be 100%. No word on the interview. They told me when I was there that final decisions have to come from HR. And they told me this because their HR is historically super slow and they didn't want me to wonder why I wasn't hearing anything for a while. They said it could take several weeks. Which really sucks but there's nothing I can do about it. I'm trying not to think about it much until I know either way what's going on. Thanks for asking! |

I'm just trying not to dwell on it too much because, although it would be awesome to get the job, then I have to think about moving. Which is overwhelming to think about, not just emotionally but all the logistics! And all my stuff! I just try not to let my mind go there until I know for sure if it needs to. I think you just convinced me to have a cocktail. I'm supposed to meet a few friends in the neighborhood for a short bit for a beer or two, but not for an hour or so. I got the Samsungs for one reason: superiority over other brands. Every time I have seen them in the store they have outperformed everyone else. I realize there is such a thing as "torch mode" but there is also such a thing as brand quality. I couldn't be happier with the purchase of the ones that are working. One more TV to go.
