Had a very interesting phone call a bit ago. It was a Gallup poll on the behalf of FEMA about preparedness. Tt was general questions which I only answered as being interested, only being prepared to last 7 days if something happened. Generally, a so so questionnaire, that is until the last segment. They asked questions about how prepared we were for a nuclear disaster. How likely it was for my area that one could happen. I said we didn't have nuclear plants in the area and if she was asking about nuclear attacks. Her response was odd. "It is a nuclear disaster and what that means to you. This is a nationwide survey and not all live close or near nuclear sites. That is why it is worded, NUCLEAR DISASTER." The questions were what would we do, would we be prepared, and would we know how to decontaminate. Now, my question to you all is this: why would they even throw in a nuclear disaster? No other scenario was suggestion, just nuclear. After I hung up, told my husband and he also thought it was very odd. Was it a warning??? Quoting: WhiteAngel This is weird. Very weird.
