This weekend has seen the worst pain in my knee since I was injured.

It seems every day is a different pain in terms of how it feels and where it is.

So bizarre.

Looking forward to the MRI and orthopedic appointment so I can hopefully nip this bull shit in the bud and hopefully it does not require surgery. Crossing fingers.

Three frames of bowling in my first game and I end up with this. Couldn't even get primed. I am pissed. Why did I. Even. Bother!

Look at it this way, maybe having to stay off your feet kept you off the roadways or out of public spaces when you didn't need to be there. Your own presence could have caused something to happen. I've seen it in my own life many times.

There's a reason for everything CS, and it's usually for the best.

As a recent New York Magazine article points out, by the 2050s, upper estimates suggest New York’s sea level could have already risen by nearly 2.5 feet. The New York City Panel on Climate Change suggests that could cause 72 square miles of land to get flooded in a 100-year storm.

That's 23.6% of the entire city. Under those conditions, Coney Island would all but disappear. The runways at John F. Kennedy Airport would be underwater, as would most of Manhattan's East Village and nearly every one of the popular beach destinations in Queens.

I remember one time really well. I was driving down the highway, nothing out of the unusual going on when I suddenly got a flat tire. No sooner had I pulled onto the shoulder, when the car I had been following slammed on his brakes and the car that had been behind me slammed into the back end of his car. If I hadn't have gotten a flat, I would have been smashed in the middle of them both.

First time I was ever glad I had to change a flat.
