Egg innards everywhere update: its now 8.30am and at 2am I cleaned up the worst of it all over the walls to get up just now to see the real clean up will begin shortly.

My question is: does anyone have any great suggestions of how to get rid of the horrendous burnt egg smell. Im not keen to go wash all of the curtains just yet.

Bring a pot of water with vinegar to a boil on the stove. Then turn it down and let it simmer until the water is almost gone. The vinegar smell will linger for a bit but dissipates pretty quick.

If vinegar turns your nose, you can try a little orange peel in the water instead but it doesn't work as quick as the vinegar.

It was seriously a cell phone. And my tv was muted (as usual lol). So I know it wasn't my tv. My house was silent and then a phone started ringing. Creepy!
