Winter Storm Orson May Be Second Blizzard in Five Days to Strike New England, Boston Sunday and Monday

Snow, heavy at times, is probable over at least parts of New England, most likely over eastern New England, possibly including the Boston metro.

Winds may intensify quickly, particularly near coastal New England, with some gusts capable of downing trees, power lines, and triggering power outages, not to mention potential blizzard conditions, in some spots.

This may have high-impact on Monday travel in New England, including flight cancellations and difficult travel on roads.

Areas from New York City south will be dry, but windy.

If that's not enough, there's yet another system to watch mid-late next week for the Northeast.
We may have yet another East Coast low form and intensify in the Wednesday through Friday timeframe next week that could, bring yet another Northeast snowstorm.
