thunder snow is something new I grew up there I was out side all the time and you can ask anyone there was no such thing as thunder snow Agreed Huh. I don't think of it as new, I remember experiencing two instances of thundersnow when I was a kid (I'm talking 70's early 80's). It is rare, though. So I think that's why people find it so exciting. Including me! Ahhh, thanks for clearing that up! I've never heard it (or heard of it) until recently.
