thunder snow is something new I grew up there I was out side all the time
and you can ask anyone there was no such thing as thunder snow
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 57480298 Agreed Huh. I don't think of it as new, I remember experiencing two instances of thundersnow when I was a kid (I'm talking 70's early 80's). It is rare, though. So I think that's why people find it so exciting. Including me! Ahhh, thanks for clearing that up! I've never heard it (or heard of it) until recently.  We get thunder snow around here all the time in the Fall and Spring, just are the weather is turning.
