but yah know ive been noticing in places 5 years ago all the wild life was good... but cause they live near traffic and homes and all that they didnt last you would see alot of animals killed ive seen it first hand freaking traumatized me still till today

any ways ive noticed not so many ducks and wild life all around me

to bees and birds and what not...

S. Californian faultline has power to trigger earthquakes, tsunamis - study


New research has revealed that a fault in Southern California which was only identified as active in the 1980s has the potential to trigger devastating earthquakes and tsunamis along America’s south west coast.

The Ventura-Pitas Point Fault runs under California from Ventura city through the Santa Barbara Channel and beneath Santa Barbara and Goleta. It also runs offshore, meaning it may be capable of generating tsunamis.

Our models confirm that the Ventura-Pitas Point fault is a major fault, that lies flat under much of the coast between Ventura and Santa Barbara.

This means that a potential source of large earthquakes is just a few miles beneath the ground in those cities. We would expect very strong shaking if one occurred.

There's quite a bit on Owl but this struck me
