Just read it got up to 79 degrees here today. Broke a record! It's going to be warm all this week, too. It's like winter's never going to come.

I'm checking up on local news online and I'm reading comments on numerous sites regarding a loud boom today here in town. They said it was very loud and shook houses. Most of the reports seemed to be in the northern STL County area, westward into St. Charles county area. I did not hear anything myself. I'm not in those areas though - probably about 15 miles to the south. Apparently this took place around 2pm. Gonna do some digging.
