We've had severe thunderstorms passing through here since early morning and they're still coming. Thunder cracks so loud it shakes the windows...so much rain the fields are beginning to look like lakes. And they're forecasting this to go on through the night.

I also believe the recent quakes around Japan are in anticipation or migration towards this event furhter north.
That would be a blessing for Japan and hopefully is the case.
Any quake in the Aleutians has to be well over 8 magnitude for it to produce a significant danger for life with resulting tsunamis.

I see Mexico is shaking again. Some poor unsuspecting population are in for it in a couple of days. Mexico is the mariachi band of earth. When their horns blow, someone else gets it in the eye.

Had to drag out the radio and change the batteries to listen to Rush....

Just something I am watching:

We have some spotty strong thunderstorms in the area right now. Nothing currently where I'm at, but my BFF just texted that they were having hail at her place about 15 min. south of me. We are under a tornado watch until 9, but I know the forecast has another round coming through overnight, which will be a larger, ugly band stretching far north-south.

I did have a good birthday! I got to leave work a little early and my mom came by my house with a cake, a card and a present. Plus all of the love here!

As good as a Monday birthday can be lol!
