I read that a potential sign of impending birth is that she might stick her neck up real straight. Of course, they do that on occasion so the question is, how this would be different.

Not dumb at all. Millions are watching for the same reason. And those eyes - so beautiful!

I think it was on Sunday, one of the caretakers took a picture of her "back there" while in the pen. I guess that's one way they determine where she's at with labor, because it's not like they can do much else. She is still a wild animal.

Interesting about the food. I didn't know that, but I did notice her appetite continues to be good. She grazes all day long!

I hope they do too, because we're now all going to want to keep up with the baby! I haven't heard if they have plans for this or not though.

Also, I love how when she bends all the way over to get food or whatever off the ground, one of her hind legs hikes up and kinda dangles while she does it. Usually her left hind leg. Cracks me up every time.

Da fuq was that? Is that normal? She was just leaning all awkwardly and had one of her back legs up off the floor a little. And stayed like that for a bit.

That HAD to have been a contraction. Then again, I know fuck all about giraffe births.

Maybe that's what I just saw? Her neck was stretched out towards the right of the camera view where you can't see her face (or part of her neck lol). What is she doing over there? Eating? Her neck isn't going towards the floor.

Help me, I'm clueless lol!

See my post above! You probably were watching her when I posted that. I'm guessing this is normal, she's been doing it since I've been watching her. I think for her to get her head all the way to the ground, this is the only way it works. Maybe she's not limber enough, lol. Or, maybe it only happens when they have a gigantic baby in their womb, making it harder for them to bend all the way over.

Hmm, I assumed her head was all the way lowered when you saw that. Not sure.

Someone mentioned last night on their chat that she has sciatica and leans to the right to let the left leg rest. Granted, no idea if they were blowing smoke or if real info

Where she is now, I think is her water trough - that is mho not fact, When she stands up her mouth drips.

Sounds about right, she's over there a lot. Which is annoying, because we can't see her face!

It feels like there is a lot more movement in her belly. And maybe it's my imagination, but she seems a bit more uncomfortable today. Maybe it's happening very soon. I hope to god I'm not in bed when this happens. I'm wondering how it will go. Do the humans intervene at all? I'm very curious.

April is making internet companies tons of cash, from all the data being streamed....

I'm thinking contractions since you read that earlier. She might have the urge to push. And her tail did weird things in the midst of that too.

That's exactly what she did. She was over near where you mentioned her water was and leaned right with her left leg up off the floor a little bit.
