Aaaaaat looooooooong freaking last: 4 months to the day: my wound is now fully healed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [ link to i.imgur.com] Skin graft (what my surgeon recommended) my freakin' ass!!!! Buwahahahahahaha It's FINALLY HEALED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  OMG I CANNOT WAIT TO SLEEP IN MY OWN BED!!!!!!!!!!!!!   But wait...4 months??? Didn't your injury take place in September?  Yep injury took place 8/28. Diagnosed on 9/16, surgery 9/21. Middle of skin turned necrotic, with an area of my wound the size of two dollar coins that was necrotic. Wound care cut off the necrotic area 11/22, and left me with a gaping hole to repair the area. I have been healing since then! Basically wound care had to spend 4 months repairing the area by building the skin from the ground up via debridement, collagen, etc etc etc
