Here is some perspective on Yellowstone potential. Even if the next eruption is a fraction of the last known eruption, someone is going to have a very bad day.
Energy equivalent in Megatons of TNT:

... wait for it...
875,000 - last known eruption yield of Yellowstone.
Really not looking forward to it. This actually exemplifies quite well how volcanic eruptions release massive amounts of energy as well. It also seems logical that large eruptions might slow down quakes and vice versa.
