KickinIt User ID: 74785546 United States 07/25/2017 06:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | yes, she died 5 months ago and was 5 months old... Living by the day now.. I had a thread about it: Thread: My 5 months old daughter died wednessday, need a real paranormal medium, even if It takes years in short, I've tried to tell them that my daughter needed priority and they waited to long (2 weeks too late) with surgery and died from the anesthetic. The doctors admitted that they should have taken action sooner, but I couldn't get through the wall to reach the right persons, we tried but the people in between didn't take us seriously enough and even delayed the surgery, she had a rare heart problem that could be fixed if she had survived the anesthetic. (she had anesthetic 2 weeks before without problems, but they had delayed her surgery because another kid did get priority, it was 4 months fighting in hospitals and we had her at home for 1 month, waiting for the surgery which never took place now.) I was always afraid of death, now I'm not anymore.... life can change fast ;) That's why news like 'baby Charlie' grabs me by the throat, especially comments from many users, like a kid can be replaced easily as some sort of a product, especially because it took us 12 years to have a baby. She was a gift from heaven. We don't know if we get another chance because of age, but even then, she's unique for us. I'm having fertility help now (3x IUI, if it fails, I get IVF) I was 'Fenna' before but I made a big mistake by not reading a post well enough... someone posted a news article with GLP mentioned... I pinned it immediately without reading, thinking it was a good accomplishment. After all, it was a negative article so Trin punished me for it by deleting my account on the fly and said ' what did you expect? a cookie?' , so I had to start fresh again and took my 'old' nick back from years ago. I told him it was a stupid mistake which I regret, I should have read the article first, but it was too late, the account was already gone. I do understand his action, I don't blame him anything, it was my own stupid mistake to not read the article myself. Now I'm way more cautious about my actions. I'm here since 2007 so I'm not new :) I haven't read your old thread yet, but what you've just shared here is heartbreaking. I'm so very sorry. I can only imagine how difficult it is to even try and recover from that kind of loss. I wish you the best going forward and hope you will continue to stick around here, because your contribution is appreciated. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73437699 United States 07/25/2017 07:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well, I got my eclipse-watching glasses! I've been putting it off and suddenly realized how close we are, so I ended up just ordering online because a lot of places locally were sold out and I didn't want to drive all over town. Got 2 pairs of the glasses and a commemorative "book" of sorts for like $6. Now I'm trying to decide where to go to watch it. I need to check in w/friends to confirm who is/isn't taking that day off. I could just walk out my front door and see it, but I think I might need a bit more excitement than that. It just seems like it would be a lot more fun to "ooh and aaah" with other humans. There's various gatherings around town and nearby - at a number of the state parks, at the science center/planetarium, at a few of the local microbreweries, and I also found a shindig at a small winery about an hour south of me. They are right in the center of the band that will have the longest period of totality. Simple, that extra pair of eclipse shades has your name on it if you feel inclined! Or really, any of you fine people! Jazzy, Haun - you're pretty close to me! Quoting: KickinIt me just going to use my arc wielding goggles or maybe use my dead head skull arc wielding Mask also go for killing Zombies Hahaha |

Hopefully they aren't charging ridiculous rates knowing people will travel for this eclipse. I wouldn't be able to take enough time off to make it a road trip unfortunately.
