We're feeling that lovely weather now. Got down to the low 60's last night. Had to turn the window fan off...brrr...lol!!
Quoting: ~Jazzy~ I'm in northern Virginia, 20 miles from D.C. Had flash flood warnings all night with the rain - still raining. Only 67 degrees out now which is welcomed by me. I live right by the potomac river ( VA, MD border ) i might go check the river out cause it's probably class 5 rapids at this point. Quoting: Master of Nothing Oh wow, I hadn't heard about all the flooding up there. I'm very familiar with that area - went to college in D.C. :) Quoting: KickinIt Still under flood warning till later this afternoon. I used to go to d.c. all the time on the weekends but not so much the last few years. Fun, but too expensive. I hate driving in that damn city - the worst. They did just open new metro stops right by me though Quoting: Master of Nothing Expensive is right! You can imagine how that sucked as a poor college kid. I had a p/t job while there, but it is really not a place for college kids with little money! Somehow I managed it though - still went out all the time. Georgetown, Adams-Morgan, etc. I didn't love D.C. but did have some good times there. The metro there is the best I've encountered. Bus system is actually very good too. I never had a car while living there, nor did I need one. And I agree, driving there sucks and is very confusing as well.
