So I found this current AQI map link. Look at all the red out in the Northwest (Unhealthy Everyone may begin to experience health effects; members of sensitive groups may experience more serious health effects.).

Sheesh, stay inside with an air purifier. blink

Nah, things to do outside. Like strip the Roost house. In heat like this, it just needs to be cleaned out every other day and add a bit of fresh straw. Usually We just spread diatomaceous earth and toss the straw well every few days. Add more as needed. But in heat like this it gets gross, even with two fans on. Best to just clean it out like I said above and just enough straw to cover the concrete floor.

Yesterday's earthquake in Bárðarbunga was largest since end of 2014-15 eruption
BY STAFF |AUG 3 2017

Yesterday's 4.5 magnitude earthquake in the Bárðarbunga system was the largest quake since the end of the 2014-15 Holuhraun eruption, the last eruption in Bárðarbunga. Scientists keep a close eye on Bárðarbunga, as the system has historically erupted in drawn out episodes lasting several years, with alternating eruptions and periods of intense seismic activity.

The last eruption in the Bárðarbunga system, which is one of Europe's largest volcanic systems, took place in 2014-15. The Holuhraun eruption took place in the northern part of the system, north of the main caldera of Bárðarbunga, which is located beneath the NW edge of Vatnajökull glacier. The intense seismic activity which has characterized the system since the end of the Holuhraun eruption is caused by the re-filling of the magma chambers of the volcano.

Yesterday's quake, a 4.5 magnitude quake to the north-west of the caldera, close to the edge of the Holuhraun lava field, preceded by a 3.8 magnitude quake in the NE edge of the caldera, was the largest quake detected in the system since the end of the Holuhraun eruption. A seismologist with the Icelandic Meteorological Office told the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service that there were no signs of immediate volcanic activity in the region.

Just got back from the doctor. I have had so many tests done in the last few months, I hate doctors.

Had a heart monitor, an echo-cardiogram (ultrasound of the heart). Because they found A-fib on the heart monitor, now I have to have another stress test and a sleep monitor at night to see how low my oxygen drops while I sleep. A-fib .... crap! Well at least I know what is happening when the there is a solar flare and my heart reacts with skipped beats.

They are still doing all kinds of weird tests on my GI tract, which is screwed up from my throat on down. Not going into details but at least I am cancer free, rofl

A sleep apnea test? Will you be able to do it at home?

That hematologist that I was seeing had wanted me to do a sleep apnea test, but it would've had to be done in the hospital (sleeping at the hospital overnight). So I refused. I have enough trouble sleeping in my own wonderful bed without all sorts of shit hooked up to me and people monitoring my every movement in real time lol.

My mom needed one and her health insurance wouldn't cover her having it done inpatient at the hospital so they sent her everything she needed to do it herself at home! I thought that was friggin awesome, and I wouldn't have objected to having one done if I could've done it at home.

I'm just curious about that, and if that is even what you meant by sleep monitor. : )

This will be at home. I think mostly to see how oxygen levels stay up or drop during sleep. I wouldn't do it in a hospital setting either. Nope, no way. Would rather do it at home.

After the stress test to see if there is heart disease or clogged arteries (he thinks this is likely) then they will decide how to treat the A-fib. Mine happens very often so that has to get under control before I have a stupid damned stroke!

Likely will be put on a strict diet and have to finally give up my cancer sticks. He hinted at both of these things. Said what I have going for me is I have great blood pressure and no diabetes.

Mandy, well, that comes and goes. Better than she was, that is for sure. Not as stressful as it was. Hopefully things will clear up here soon (new meds) and she seems happier than she has been for sometime.

And thank you sweetie for your thoughts and prayers
