One funny story from today. We had been talking about how an eclipse can have various effects on people, animals, etc. Including causing unexpected endings but also new beginnings. Well, about 2 minutes till the full eclipse I went inside to wash something nasty off my hands real quick - and there was no water! At all, anywhere - water was off! We were like, "oh man, THE ECLIPSE did it!". Ends up there was a water main break in her neighborhood.  Timing was fun though. Oh no! So you had to keep the nasty on your hands?  No, I used bottled water. But of course, once we knew there was no water, then we all felt like we had to go to the bathroom, etc.
