Update from South Florida there is no water anywhere not in any of the stores today at Home Depot there was a store manager talking to a large group of people all wanting water they said a majority of our water went to the hurricane victims in Texas this is why South Florida has none so he said that there should be a shipment tomorrow but that's what every single store is been saying for the last 4 days and no one can find any water

The 5.3 in ID was on Saturday 9/3. I doubt they are related based on that, plus the quakes have continued in ID non stop since that 5.3. To the extreme, really. It seems abnormal.

OMG why would FL donate a bunch of their own water when FL is in the midst of hurricane season?!?! I mean, it's a nice gesture but this fall was predicted to be an active hurricane season months ago, and FL has to assume they could always be in the line of fire. My god, that was a terrible decision. So many other states out of harms way could've and should've donated that water.

I think you need to get out of there. Easier said than done, I'm sure, but things aren't looking good for for FL as I'm sure you are aware. If this storm stays at a Cat. 4-5 and the eye goes over the state, even inland isn't going to be safe. Best to go somewhere else until it passes. I really fear for all of FL at this point until it gets closer.

I'm feeling emotional and a bit "off" today, so maybe it's just the full moon effect speaking here, but I'm concerned about California.

Despite the increased activity in Idaho and in South America, as well as some mid-size quakes in Central America the past few days, California sitting smack in between has been oddly quiet. Today they have only had 3-4 quakes in the low 2-range. Which is nothing for Cali. Yet there have been a whole bunch of quakes in the 1-range - an increase compared to the past several days.

something doesn't feel right about all of this. Why has there been virtually no movement there to offset all this movement around it??

La Tuna Fire Containment Increases to 70%: ‘We Hit This Hard,’ LAFD Captain Says

This is dutch's latest video, posted sometime yesterday. From about 9:55-21:00 he talks about the Idaho quake and the lack of movement in cali. He said he had forecasted a 4+ for that area, but it didn't hit. He mentions the very few 2+ quakes, and he noted the recent increase in very low magnitude quakes there as I just discovered earlier (0's and 1's). He said this is indicative of a slow slip in this area. To add to this, he said OR and especially offshore WA have been lacking - also indicative of a continued slow slip.

He said he still expects more movement to the east as a result of the Idaho quake, but there has only been the one 3.5 in OK. He expects more and larger movement within the next 3 days, in between the fracking operations in OK and the New Madrid Seismic zone. He said at the high end this area could see as large as 5, lower end 4+. The movement will then shift to the east (GA/TN/VA), where they will see 4.0 large end, 3.0 low end.
