Today's pretty freaking awesome. I had my intro call with one of the oldest, largest agencies in my line of work, slated to start a kick off contract project next week. Also finishing up a proposal for a super large, well-known company that doesn't get bigger (like it's even bigger than huge than the client I worked on at my last job but I can't talk about it in any more detail publicly).

God I hope I get it. It would be a huge I-told-you-so-big-ass-fuck-you to my former boss. Like Charlie Frost from 2012: Haaaaaah-Haaaaah-Haaaaah!!!

If anyone thinks about it - a few prayers for my daughter and one for me.

She came home from Canada sick and now has double pneumonia.

Me? I have really crappy lungs and don't need this at all or I will end up in the hospital 100% guaranteed!

Keep in mind we live on a half mile gravel road with a spur onto like 15 houses. Our tiny spur is hard to see and just 5 houses.

Neighbor called a bit ago, sais a box truck drove past 5 times, with just parking lights on. He called another neighbor and inquired. He said we're all home. About the same time I see lights up at the barn. So does Tori

As I'm getting my boots and jacket on, tori runs downstairs. She stands on the patio, while I run the 400 feet to the barn.

Quess what?
The box van in backed in close to barn. I hear a lot of commands from my neighbor about "who are you what are you doing." Then I yell Rich, whats going on here. A strange voice yells back. we are lost. i yell fuck no you lost get in the truck and leave. One guy does but the other walks towards me... Rich rackets his shotgun back. Guy stopd walking.I pull my sidearm, yell leave now 3 times. They left. Rich wad smart enough to get a plate number.

That was a lot to handle in my drunken state. No doubt Rich and the other neighbor were drunk as well.

With what rich seen of the the guy and plate number, me of the guy that apporched me and the other neighbor with the truck disprun. Well she called the sheriff...

So just druunk me making coffee now and staying up. A deputy should be showibg up in the next halfhour. Either her house, Rich's house or here.
