Storms were a non-event here. Some lightning/thunder, some minor winds, and a bit of rain. I do think certain spots around town got hit harder. I saw an ugly purple/pink/white blob on the radar at one point only a few miles north of me, and I'm pretty that means hail. I lucked out again!

Hoping the line that just came through here doesn't mess with Haun and Jazzy. It's still severe in spots and it's marching east.

The wind picked up a little here but not bad. The rain, on the other hand, came down not in buckets, but boatloads. OMG. It beat all of the leaves off of the trees. Thank G-d there wasn't hail mixed in with it or it would have been a disaster. There are flash flood watches all over the county. Farm ponds are out of their banks and roadways have been turned into creeks.

I just heard on TV that a town about 40 min. south of STL got hit with tennis ball size hail! It's marching east so you guys might get a 2nd round in a bit.

What a great gift!! Here's an idea to try too. I just got Third Wave Water packets. It's minerals you put in either distilled or reverse osmosis water to make your coffee at home taste just like coffee shop coffee. It was on shark tank and they all said it tasted way better than tap water coffee.
