Banana peppers hurt me bad butt then I just had a lower anterior bowl resection.  Dang! Cancer or a prolapse? I sure hope you heal quickly!!!  Cancer. Their test said that one of the tumors was through the colon wall and that I needed 3 months of radiation and chemo before surgery. I researched their test and concluded that the test results were an educated guess. I refused radiation and chemo and had the resection. Turned out I was right and the cancerous tumor was not through the colon wall and did not spread anywhere. The other tumor didn't have any cancer in it, even though they thought it would. Wow. Well, despite having to have such a major surgery, that turned out about as well as it could've. So glad you did your research and that it ended up being the right decision. My friend did have to do 6 mos. of chemo. Took a lot out of him. He's cancer free now though! Glad you are too!
