Had a major technical work-related issue this week that falls under the category of my problem to fix unfortunately. Took me two days to resolve it. Good times, ugh! But all is fixed and I've learned a whole lot more about our system. Got some Christmas present wrapping done tonight. Made me realize that I need to get more gifts. A lot more. Just sigh. Never enough time. Never enough money. Best news of my day, my week, my year.... My uncle is breathing on his own now!! I need more to this update, but that alone is just freakin' awesome!!! : ) My mini has been suffering from severe headaches the past couple of weeks. Need to get her to the doctor to make sure it's nothing serious. She wore glasses when she was younger, so I'm wondering if the headaches might have something to do with her eyesight. I'm on it, and will schedule her an appointment. I'm tired. Very tired. Most of the time. I'm busy, overworked, etc. But I am grateful. I am grateful to even be able to complain about my petty problems. I'm grateful for every single thing that I take for granted when I am not reflecting on what I'm grateful for. I am soooooo grateful (thank You GOD) that my uncle is able to breathe, without mechanical help, tonight. Needed to get that all out. : ) :s27life: Continued prayers and positive energy to you and yours. Everything always works out just right. : ) |

Is he conscious and talking yet? My daughter had regular headaches until we got her glasses and gave her regular allergy medicine. Now she rarely gets them. I'm sure that yours probably just needs glasses. Remember the thing about presents: It's the thought put into it and not the cost of the present that is important. Christmas can get costly even knowing that because we want the best for those that we love. I think we sometimes forget that the best isn't always the most expensive. As far as there not being enough time....lol.. I can't help you there. I need an additional couple of weeks before Christmas myself. It sneaks up on you. |

As far as there not being enough time....lol.. I can't help you there. I need an additional couple of weeks before Christmas myself. It sneaks up on you. I'm not really sure of the details about my uncle starting to breathe on his own again. My guess would be that he's not fully conscious or talking yet. And that might take some time to get to, if he does actually get that far. Him breathing on his own is a huge, positive sign, but we still don't know if he will make it. I personally find it to be a miracle that he is even breathing on his own. All odds are stacked against him surviving. I truly never expected to hear that he started to breathe on his own. Holding onto that hope and continuous prayers are going up! My mini wore glasses for years when she was younger. Her eye doctor said she could stop wearing them some years ago as the problem was corrected. It was never an issue with her actual eyesight, but an issue with one eye turning inwards. We haven't had any problems since she stopped wearing her glasses years ago, but the sudden daily headaches (severe) make me wonder if it may be related to her eyes. She does actually have allergies though, and it's been rough around here recently. I've mentioned my own sneezing fits here just recently. Could be that. I didn't even think of that, sheesh lol. Thank you for mentioning it! Regarding the gifts...I put TOO much thought into them! I drive myself crazy. And it's not about the money, it's that I want to get the perfect gift for everyone that I' buying for lol. It's bad. I have one of my sisters as my person to buy for this year among siblings and sibling's significant others (we have a $50 limit and each buy for 1 of us ~ if that makes sense) and I am determined to get her something special and meaningful, but at the same time fun and something she'll like lol. Like I said, it's bad haha! Now I must go to bed because of that whole time thing. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

WhiteAngel also known as WA User ID: 13752844 United States 12/07/2017 02:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ATMOSPHERIC RADIATION IS INCREASING: Since the spring of 2015, Spaceweather.com and the students of Earth to Sky Calculus have been flying balloons to the stratosphere over California to measure cosmic rays. Soon after our monitoring program began, we quickly realized that radiation levels are increasing. Why? The main reason is the solar cycle. In recent years, sunspot counts have plummeted as the sun's magnetic field weakens. This has allowed more cosmic rays from deep space to penetrate the solar system. Quoting: Simple27 As 2017 winds down, our latest measurements show the radiation increase continuing apace--with an interesting exception, circled in yellow: [link to spaceweather.com] In Sept. 2017, the quiet sun surprised space weather forecasters with a sudden outburst of explosive activity. On Sept. 3rd, a huge sunspot appeared. In the week that followed, it unleashed the strongest solar flare in more than a decade (X9-class), hurled a powerful CME toward Earth, and sparked a severe geomagnetic storm (G4-class) with Northern Lights appearing as far south as Arkansas. During the storm we quickened the pace of balloon launches and found radiation dropping to levels we hadn't seen since 2015. The flurry of solar flares and CMEs actually pushed some cosmic rays away from Earth. Interestingly, after the sun's outburst, radiation levels in the stratosphere took more than 2 months to fully rebound. Now they are back on track, increasing steadily as the quiet sun resumes its progress toward Solar Minimum. The solar cycle is not expected to hit rock bottom until 2019 or 2020, so cosmic rays should continue to increase, significantly, in the months and years ahead. [link to spaceweather.com] Now as early as 2019?? You know why this isn’t surprising to me. Wouldn’t be surprised if it isn’t mid to late ‘18.
