Amsterdam - 8 December 2017 (ANPFN)Boston woman arrested at Jon Snow Meet & GreetA Meet & Greet session with Game of Thrones star Jon Snow was disrupted this morning in Amsterdam. A large crowd of fans had gathered at the Leidseplein to catch a glimpse of their GoT hero, when all of a sudden someone started shouting:
"COME AT ME SNOW!" As panick broke out amongst the masses, law enforcements officers were able to apprehend the perpetrator, a 30ish female from Boston, holding a YUUUGE sign with a picture of a dog jumping in the snow, reading the same line she loudly exclaimed seconds before, "Come at me snow!"
The woman was taken into custody and transfered to Bureau Warmoestraat for questioning, but was soon thereafter released, after it appeared that she had no harm in mind. The woman, a global weathertard with a particular interest in snow ("the white stuff" as she calls it), had read on a conspiracy site about Snow coming to the Dutch Capitol and took the first flight to the Netherlands, where she thought to be part of a group happening of first Dutch snow lovers. She only realized her mistake after she got jumped by five Law Enforcment Officers.
Even though the Meet & Greet was cancelled, leaving hundreds of Snow-groupies disappointed, in tears and enraged and sparking riots from the Vondelpark to the Museumplein, the management of Snow has decided not to press charges against the American woman. To avoid similar misunderstandings, future Meet & Greets with Jon Snow in Holland will be held mid summer, the management stated in a press release.
