Oh geez, I don't even know. In my mid to later 20's probably. I was never much for beer bongin'. I can't chug beer like that. I can chug maybe 1/2 a bottle, and then I have to take a break before doing the other 1/2. I was never a good shot do-er either. If they're foofy fruity shots then I'm fine. But tequila, jagermeister, or any straight liquor is tough for me. Plus, I don't know how to gauge my drinking with shots. I can put down some cocktails with the best of 'em, but I stick with what I know so I can pace myself.

I am making that as soon as hubby gets back from store. He saw this recipe:
[link to www.twotwentyone.net (secure)]

And asked me to make some and of course I couldn't say no!!! Getting ready to crush some candy canes to sprinkle on top. I was just going to melt some Candy Melts but he wanted white chocolate.
Quoting: WhiteAngel

Saved that recipe! I want some too! : )

Saw this on Pinterest, didn't try it yet but will. When making a box cake substitute unsalted butter for the oil and milk for the water and a couple extra drops of vanilla....will make it taste like you baked from scratch!
Quoting: Isis One

I do that all the time Isis and throw in a small box of pudding that matched the cake flavor. Helps to dense up the cake a little. Not fond of the overly fluffy cakes.

I detest the taste of beer so I can honestly say I have never done this. Made a mistake in my younger days and drank two big bottles of Taylor white wine and still wasn't drunk, so drank a 12 pack of Mikelob. I have never been so sick in all my life. I think I puked my toes up - just the smell of beer and the old gag reflex kicks in.

No wonder I dont' drink now....

Lol, you got it all wrong, but everything's turning out fine! The sea salt caramels and peanut butter balls were done on Friday night. Just a little while ago I finished 2 kinds of cookies - multiple batches of each. Tomorrow I have one more kind to make. I see light at the end of the tunnel! My back is aching like mad from standing the past 5 hours, though. And all I ate today was a bowl of cereal and I'm starving!

Decided to catch up here and have a glass of wine first. Priorities.

Well this is interesting. Dutch saying that there might be volcano action off the coast of Cali. That might explain the activity. Start it around 3:00 and go from there to see why he's saying this. This video was posted 2 days ago, so the activity he saw that he's questioning took place the day before (10th).

Quoting: KickinIt

I posted the above on 12/13. Below is a new video posted yesterday. I didn't watch it all myself, but the first 4 min. or so gets to the point- a box of lava rocks that a viewer sent him, found onshore near Eureka, CA. It is surmised this is related to the volcano activity he noted in the first video. And, in the comments from this new vid., I saw this:

Nice work Debbie and Ron M. going over to the coast and finding those lava rocks on the beach near Orick!! and then sending them to Dutch. As you probably know they where having a series of loud "booms" around Eureka/Arcata last week. Right during the period Dutch found the volcanic plume right off the coast from Eureka >>><<<
