I have to make my green and red jello shots tonight! I'm making 125 of them.

And I'm gonna make those peppermint oreo truffles with the white chocolate coating. I forgot to put candy canes or peppermints on the list for Nef so I have to run out for those first. Gotta have the crushed peppermints on the outside. : )

I have to go to a gathering with some of my oldest friends. Mostly high school friends, some going back to middle/grade school. Unfortunately they always choose to get together way out in the burbs where we grew up. So I will definitely not be having more than a couple of light beers. I'm so tired too, I don't feel like doing anything! And I still have tomorrow night so I want to save energy for that! Xmas day I am gonna chill hard, though.

Oh, and we're getting another 1-2" of snow tomorrow morning/afternoon!

Just crush a few candy canes. I think I did about 10 mini ones and had too much.

My childish self bought sour kid candy canes this year lol! So I have nothing peppermint on hand in the house. That's what I'll grab when I run out, the mini candy canes. Thanks for the tip on the number of them to crush. : )

I used a small rubber mallet and pounded them good. Put in a baggy and put a dish towel underneath.

Damn cream cheese is hard as hell to mix into those crushed cookies!
