We're in some sort of arctic blast BS right now. All week. We won't get out of the teens for a high!

Plus wind. It's truly brutal out there right now. News is saying frost bite can happen within 30 minutes of being outside and to layer up, etc. Concerns for the homeless and mentioning all of the shelters that will be open.

What you just posted prior to this is why I froze my face off! Feels-like temp is 2. I was bundled up with a coat and hood and still right now my cheeks are rosy from it. It's bitter out there! I don't know how BigD does all that he does out in this weather!

That is how it was going to be here and then they changed the forecast to much warmer and drier. Then boom, it went back to the original arctic cold and light snow. We made it to 11.1F today, lol

I remember when I first started poking around here on GLP. So many people seemed just plain rude lol. I wouldn't even ask anyone how to do anything. I just picked up as I went along, so some things also took me a while to figure out.

That is just too freakin cold!

As for BigD - you get used to the cold especially if you are working. After a while, 20F feels like 50. I have chopped wood in my shirt sleeves with it only 10F and it felt too warm.

I feel sorry for my husband. He has to work at UPS tonight loading planes and it will be about 5F while he is there.

I wonder how many even "get" Chrissy's dumb blonde moments???

Hopefully you can stay inside and keep warm. It's not so bad from in the house with the heat on lol. Thank God for that luxury. Not all are so lucky. I always think of the homeless folks when it's this cold outside. : (

I have to bring my little one to Walmart tonight so she can buy a video game for her 'boyfriend' for Christmas because he's coming over tonight to give her a present. She's using some money she got for Christmas. I do not want to go out there at all.

I went out to grab the mail earlier and it chilled me to the bone for a good little bit. Like Kickin said, rosy cheeks for a while lol.

I am so excited about PT today. Made major strides and improvements. On the horizontal bike stepper thingy (forget what the machine is called, exactly) I had an intensity of approximately 6.0. Today, I went through 10 minutes with an intensity of 8.5 all the way through.

I am stepping up on steps with my surgery knee (my right, or the one on your left when you're watching the video) for the first time since this whole ordeal began over a year ago. I was so excited I wanted to share my progress on video:
