Palm trees show the trace of the San Andreas Fault near Palm Springs, Southern California. The fault has displaced the channel on the right. [ link to twitter.com (secure)] Quoting: joinca I visited Joshua Tree National Park once when I was on a trip to L.A. Went up to a lookout point of sorts in the park (I think) where you could see the San Andreas below. It was pretty cool to see it up close, and you could truly see it go all the way off into the horizon. It's big and bad! And that park is awesome. Wish I'd had more time to explore it, we were only there a day. Quoting: KickinIt Here is some info.... [ link to twitter.com (secure)]
