Weird, my beef stew is also from Omaha Steaks! My uncle sent me a HUGE box from there for Xmas with 4 complete crock pot meals plus a 3.5 lb chuck roast that looks lovely. I had to take everything out of my freezer just to try and fit all that stuff into it. I made one of the meals that first weekend, because I just didn't have the freezer space. Then some friends came over last weekend and I made another. And then yesterday I made another. Now I finally have made space in my freezer so I'm probably not going to touch the last of it for a while. But I will say, all of it has been delicious, and the beef involved in these meals melts in your mouth (one of them was chicken n dumplings).

Actually, it was a KickinIt gift.

It is a nice gift, and they remembered how I love my cockpot (typo and it stays). I just wish I had a bigger freezer! I have thought about getting a small one to put in the basement. I tend to freeze a lot of stuff since I live alone. I also like making stocks for soup, and that takes up space.

It was from my beloved uncle, who is 91 and can still kick it, indeed! Love that man.

Getting a small freezer for the basement would likely be a good investment. I've been considering doing the same. Craigslist would be a good place to check for a cheap used one.

I am here and home from the interview. I think I rocked it. I hope they feel the same way.

I said "Please don't worry too much about my walking I'm getting close to the tail end of this thing." Because I wanted to be up front and explained both of my disabilities.

He said "Oh that's OK we won't worry about that." I know he's probably just covering himself but this is the first company I've interviewed with who didn't just sweep it under the rug and ignore it, and who said something somewhat neutral/positive about it.

I hope I get this one. If not...on to the next.
