Thank you all for the encouraging comments yesterday.

If you think of all the devastation that people have gone through in earthquakes, hurricanes, mudslides, torrential rains or raging fires, losing everything they own, even their loved ones with hardly any time to even mourn them, because they need to hold on to bare life, it makes you realize that a storm like we had yesterday with the trouble it caused, was not more than an annoyance to most of us.

With deep respect and condolances to the families who lost someone in it too. I know for them this is bigger than any other disaster. My heart goes out to them

You really are a beautiful bunch of people, looking out for others, caring and sharing in sadness, loving, joking and having the best of times too. Despite the increasing termoil in our society and beyond, we always find a moment to reflect and give a chin up to those who need it, with words, gestures, a smile or an encouraging kick in the butt. T

hat makes this such a special place and an example on how our world can be, if we just keep our eyes and ears open for what is around us, as a whole we can create that better place we all are looking and yearning for. For sure, it doesn't instantly take away all the hurt and suffering we sometimes go through on a personal level, but when we keep our hearts open and stay genuine, we can bring this challenge home and be proud of ourselves that we made it.
