Isis One User ID: 75230280 United States 01/21/2018 01:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's already 62 degrees here today, and I just sat out on my back patio for a bit. All the birds and squirrels are unusually active. Hyperactive, really. I've been out there twice and I've seen squirrel fights, squirrel chases, birds flying frantically and running into each other. I sit outside a lot when it's nice weather, and what I'm seeing today is not the norm, despite there always being a lot of wildlife around. Perhaps after that super cold stretch they are just excited because they think it's spring? Quoting: KickinIt Hopefully it's that! It's about 50 degrees here for the second day in a row. Feels good!! Jeez, it's only 40 here, I'm jelly. Spread the word, change the collective conscious...... Anonymous Coward User ID: 72229643 Canada 01/21/2018 01:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Quoting: -Haun- It really worries me, Haun. There have been multiple incidences at this point of either oddly high tide/waves or receding waters nearly all the way around S. America. Earlier incidences were on the east side, then shortly thereafter on the west side, and now to the north. Scares the crap out of me. Good Morning... I would think if the Earths rotation was slowing then it would be most noticeable in the waters and land around the Equator, the faster the earth spins the more the water and land bulge at the Equator, the slower the spin, water lowers around the equator and rises to the north and the south.... Quoting: WhiteAngel Starting tonight it will start snowing with possible accumulations of 4-7". If we see two I will be surprised with as dry as it has been. And we were just placed under a WINTER STORM WARNING, the first time this season. So far we have had about 4-5" of snow, not a biggie but the most we have had at one time all season. This is radar for my area - with what looks like plenty more to come. Classic upslope, which means it wraps around and blows back in from the east bringing the snow back to us.
