Good Morning... I would think if the Earths rotation was slowing then it would be most noticeable in the waters and land around the Equator, the faster the earth spins the more the water and land bulge at the Equator, the slower the spin, water lowers around the equator and rises to the north and the south.... Equatorial bulge [ link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] I hadn't even considered the slowing of our rotation. That makes sense. More sense than anything else they've been trying to tell us. Thanks for mentioning this ND  Yes!!!!!!! Very good! That had not occurred to me! It's the only thing that makes sense to me as well... So not only would the oceans drop at the Equator, the sea floor would as well.... on another note who should I bet on in the 2 football games today?
