Getting to know a little more about Arkansas' vulnerability to earthquakes. Didn't have to worry too much while in Baltimore, even though they've had one every now and then. Here, I may actually experience an earthquake for the first time..and I'm in no hurry to do it :)
Quoting: TunedOut Thanks for the articles! I didn't want to quote the entire post, but much appreciated. Yes, you most certainly have a good chance of feeling your first earthquake there in Arkansas. Hopefully just a little shaker. I would actually like to feel a small earthquake. Only big enough to be felt though, no damage or injuries. How long have you been in Arkansas? Quoting: Simple27 I got here in early July of last year. It's been quite a transition, getting used to the place, but finally getting settled. Been learning all I can about Arkansas and my (news) town of Bull Shoals. Just in weather alone, it's quite a change from Bmore. A lot of storms come through Oklahoma and Missouri across Bull Shoals Lake, and since I live right on the lake, I'll hopefully be getting some good storm photography in this year. Love this place :)
