Minor StormA coronal hole stream moving past Earth near 600 km/s is helping to stir up isolated periods of enhanced geomagnetic activity, including a brief Minor (G1) geomagnetic storm early Monday morning. Additional brief disturbances to our geomagnetic field will remain possible during the next 24 hours. Sky watchers should continue to be alert for visible aurora, especially around the Arctic Circle.
