I'm bored.

Usually I am on Ancestry doing research but it isn't working right, so I am twiddling my thumbs. Lots of sighing also. Nothing even interesting on the open forum to get into it with some trolls......lol

I tend to sigh when I'm feeling stressed and overwhelmed, not when I'm bored. In fact, that's one of my signs I need to address my own stress level.

So little stress right now and I think that is also the boredom. Stress isn't always bad, it is also good. There is NOTHING going on and that is a good thing. Stress makes asthma worse and that is calming down some so I like that part, just bored!

I was working on a like of Vaughan's is Wales that would have went back to the year 1038 if I would have finished it up. Now for me, that was exciting. Each time I add a new line (these are direct ancestors), I research the time frame and the area - yes, I love history - and imagine what it was like then.

Heck, I even have several lines that were the first in Jamestown. Lots more Scots and Welsh than I would have ever thought.

There is one thing with weather that this girl does NOT like....WIND!!!! It blew all day yesterday and all day today with gusts close to 50mph.
 Quoting: WhiteAngel

I'm not a fan of wind either. I dislike rain more, though. We're supposed to get some wind tomorrow. A front is making it's way through here and winds will follow with gusts from 30-40mph starting tomorrow morning.

Take care of yourself WA!
 Quoting: KickinIt

I love rain but hate wind. Glad we don't have a flying saucer trampoline or it would be in Kansas by now!!!
 Quoting: WhiteAngel

I don't mind rain if I don't have to go anywhere. And I don't like it for days on end, like we had recently. That sucks!
 Quoting: KickinIt

We are so dry here, when I run my hand up and down the sides of the kitties, it causes static electricity. I would take any form of moisture at this point. Looked at the extended forecast and NOTHING. I wouldn't want to drive in rain after this long dry spell. Those roads would be as slick as goose crap

It's great you know so much about your ancestry. I have some stuff on my dad's side, and very, very little on my mom's side. Would love to know more. If I had more time I would love to get into genealogy more as you have done. I find it fascinating, and like you, I want to know about the people. Not just their names and when they were born/died. But info that gives you some clues about their life and how they lived. Do you ever watch Finding your Roots on PBS? I love that show. It's right up your alley if you've never seen it, and you can probably find all the seasons online.

I feel I need to give the job more time. It really hasn't been long. And I came at an unusual time when a lot had to happen in the first few months. Some of that is still lingering, plus we have had some additional things come up that weren't anticipated. I do like a lot of things about it, so I hope that in time things will calm down and I'll finally get my footing. But if the pace continues to be what it has been for a while, then I will have to reevaluate, because I can't keep this up. The upside is that literally all of my coworkers are feeling this way. Damn she's purty! A thing of beauty (the Arch, that is. The rainbow is nice too).

This doesn't surprise me, because when I left work it looked like the skies were falling. Super dark, and super low clouds. In fact, I can see the Arch in one spot as I'm leaving, and the very top was blocked by low clouds, which is unusual. Wanted to take a pic but I was driving. My guess is it opened up and poured down rain there after I got out.

Expect increase across silent zones -- West Coast Canada

 Quoting: -Noahsdad-

Thanks for posting this. For those interested, key spots to go to for the U.S. are at 12:22 (for details) and 55:28 (forecast). Got that helpful tip in the comments.

To CS - what you and I were discussing about the fracking, where the pressure was coming from, etc. is all addressed in those spots in the video. As you said, the 4's in OK were in fracking spots. The pressure, which is what I was wondering about, came from the 4.2 near Vancouver that struck on 3/1, which I had forgotten about, so that explains that. But what's odd is that except for a few small ones, Cali was skipped and the energy from the Vancouver quake transferred to OK. He described it as if something's blocking the flow, so the energy diverts to the next weakest point, which in this case was in OK. That makes sense, especially since it was a larger quake than would normally be expected (2 of em, at that).

For the coming week he predicts a mid 5-range off the coast of Vancouver Island. He also said to expect a swarm in Yellowstone, as a result of this energy in OK. He said to expect another mid-4 in OK, and a mid-4 EQ in Cali (probably L.A. area).

Nah. It isn't harsh. He's simply tired of people insisting that he's wrong when they cannot and will not even try to see the things he sees.

It's like 2 people and each have a cake recipe that they swear is the best. But one says you need to mix the dry ingredients first and then add in the wet, while the other person says that way is rubbish; that it doesn't matter and that the ingredients can all be thrown in together at the same time and the cake will come out the same if not better. And they say that without ever having tried the other way.

Some people are true bakers, and some just think they are because their cake turned out edible.

Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated
This really bothers me.......

I really wish you christ tards would just get out of this thread.

There's no place for you here because you cannot let go of your crutches and accept responsibility for your own existence.

You want to limit yourself to a savior that LEFT EARTH 2000 years ago and WON'T BE BACK?

Go ahead.

This thread isn't for you.

Just go now and keep waiting for your savior.

Some people will save themselves and that's MY PURPOSE HERE.

So kindly, fuck off.

Preface: I didn't read a lot of the thread, but with that being said, the response seems oddly harsh and out of place for the context I did read.
