Well, my friend passed away Saturday afternoon. I didn't have a chance to make the trip back home to see him. Really didn't think he'd be gone so soon.

He hadn't seen or talked to any of his family in years. There were a lot of problems between them...which is just fucked up when you look back on it now. He held on until they all made it there to be with him, then he let go.

Wish I could have seen him one more time. But I still feel at peace. Because I know he does too.
