I've got a shit situation that could use some prayers. Sort of a long story to get to the important stuff so I'll leave all of that out.

My sister, the married one with 2 little children, had an MRI done yesterday/last night. Her doctor called her today (while she was at work) to tell her that the MRI shows multiple blood clots either in or on her brain. Some are months old and some are newer.

She hasn't been able to see correctly out of one of her eyes for a few months now. And gets headaches all the time.

WTF?!

On top of that, my sister asked her doctor if this is something that could be life-threatening and her doctor said no! Ummmmm, YES the fuck it can be!!!

Please pray for her if you pray. Her name is Mandy.

That sounds so scary. And I know she's young, WTF! Hopefully they can get rid of the clots with some sort of medicine, but the question is what's causing it. I hope they figure it out quickly, and that she doesn't have any further problems. Bless her and her sweet little family. I will be thinking of her. And you!

Ironically (not so much anymore) when she got the epidural a few months ago before delivering my niece, she said that it killed and sent a very sharp pain up her spine, up her neck and into her BRAIN. She was telling us this the day she delivered. Since then she has had terrible headaches, lost most of the vision in one of her eyes and just starting this week she's having trouble saying some words at times. : (

Whoa, that has to be connected. Poor thing, I hope those problems can be reversed once they figure this out and treat her. I just hope the remedy is nothing too invasive.
